Mara Yamshon, LCSW and Licensed School Social Worker, offers psychotherapy for children and female adults.

Mara’s treatment methods aim to help clients to build on their strengths. As an experienced social worker, she also assists clients in connecting them to community resources.

Mara Yamshon’s areas of particular expertise include therapeutic services for children, adolescents and female adults with learning disabilities, ADHD, social skill issues, trauma, anxiety and depression.

Her treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, and play therapy.  When she works with children and adolescents she generally seeks to work collaboratively with parents, teachers and other supporting professionals as well as directly with her client.

Mara Yamshon’s fee for individual therapy is $155 per 50-minute session, and $230.00 for family/couples therapy per 50 minute session.  Initial assessment (first session) is $230 for individuals and for couples/families. She is willing to discuss reduced sliding-scale fees responsive to clients’ income.  She also accepts Medicaid, BHI, Colorado Access, and is a provider for Anthem/BCBS Behavioral Health Network.  EAP’s include Compsych and Mines and Associates.
